ASUO 2009 Coalition! Vote All Three on Duckweb!
Emma & Getachew, and the members of True Blue and Students First have agreed to form a coalition dedicated to electing candidates who share a common vision for the ASUO: Broad representation of students across campus, a vigorous effort to determine important student concerns on campus and fight for them when elected, and a firm commitment to ethical leadership during and after the elections.

Students First is a campaign founded on the basic principle that students with different perspectives can, and must, work together to find a solution that actively engages all student opinions. We believe in creating practical policies, rather than personal crusades. Our experience in the ASUO gives us the ability to understand both the strengths and weaknesses of our student government. We want to increase transparency and outreach in the ASUO, focus more on fund raising, spend students’ money responsibly, make campus greener, and protect student rights on campus. Students First embraces the differences that allow the ASUO to only have one bias: students.
